    Thank you for your interest in Discover McCombs: Diversity Weekend on October 26-27. This event is designed for all prospective full-time MBA students who are passionate about diversity, equity & inclusion, and are committed to improving the visibility of underrepresented populations in business school and in management. 

    Diversity Weekend will be your opportunity to connect with current MBA students, engage with McCombs alumni and faculty, explore Austin, attend an MBA+ Leadership workshop, and ask any questions you might have about the program or application process. Whether you are looking to explore, enhance, or change careers, the Full-Time MBA Program at Texas McCombs supports personal and professional development within a dynamic learning environment and collaborative community. 

    Due to space constraints, participation is by application only. Applications will be reviewed and confirmed on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis. We encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. A limited number of complimentary, shared hotel rooms are available for the night of Friday, October 26 and will fill quickly.

    Arrive in Austin by 5:00 PM on Friday, October 26. Depart from Austin on Saturday, October 27 after 6:00 PM.

    Friday, October 26 - Downtown Austin
    Evening Welcome Reception in Downtown Austin

    Saturday, October 27 - Robert B. Rowling Hall at The University of Texas at Austin
    Programming will take place on campus and will include interaction with current students, an MBA alumni panel, a mock class with McCombs faculty, a Diversity Weekend keynote address, a presentation from the MBA Career Management team, and an MBA+ Leadership pitch workshop. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided. 

    Diversity Weekend is led by a team of current students and MBA Program staff, including Anacely Vazquez-CarrilloSydney Reed-Melville, and Jaden FelixProgramming is designed by and will include current MBA students & alumni members of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management (CGSM), Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA), & Forté Foundation; Texas McCombs MBA student organizations, including the Black Graduate Business Association (BGBA), eQual MBAs, Graduate Women in Business, McCombs Ambassador Committee (MAC); and other diverse communities and allies.
